Diffuser version 2 is the latest invention from Crescendo team. It's main function is to diffuse and absorb the back wave of the speaker thus improving the sound quality, especially the midrange and midbass.
Installation is simple:
- Attach 1 to 4 sheet of Crescendo Diffuser directly behind the speaker or subwoofer.
- Use silicone sealant to attach the Diffuser. It will stick to any material (wood, metal, plastic).
Compare to foam type, Crescendo Diffuser has several advantages:
- It will not absorb water thus will not create rust.
- It will strengthen the panel thus reducing its rattle.
- It has much more peaks so it is more effective in diffusing the back wave.
- It doesn't produce bad odour or bad smell.
After all, it is a cheap and effective way to improve the sound quality. It's not like comparing cables, you will directly notice the following improvement:
- Timbre is more precise.
- Vocal has better weight and authority.
- The singer is more present.
- Midbass is cleaner and has more attack.
